There’s something exceptionally intriguing about life and the willingness to live. Rather it be in human beings or the animal kingdom, species strive to survive. Creatures regularly seek food and water in their efforts to subsist. Notice how endangering situations are carefully avoided when life is threatened. Dangerous situations are clearly shunned in efforts for protection of life.
God is so awesome. He created life and I’m quite sure that He put this instinct in species; however, there’s another aspect to life and God in regard to the breath of life. Let’s take the subject of a human being born. I personally believe that God breathes life into that body at conception. At death, I believe that breath of life is drawn back into God leaving just a corpse and departure of the person’s spirit. In essence, God is the breath of life. Without his breath of life into a body there could be no life for He is the complete source of life.
This, in essence, separates species from inanimate objects so to speak. Without the breath of life into a species that species would be just a collection of matter with no feelings of existence whatsoever. It would be inanimate, and basically, just occupy a space like a rock. The breath of life from God cannot be covered by science textbooks. It cannot be covered by evolution. It defies humanistic definition because it extends from deity in the fullest sense of the word.
