The Lamar Outdoor billboard near New York showed silhouettes of the traditional images of three wise men approaching the Nativity scene during this past season. Its message, “You KNOW it’s a myth/This Season. Celebrate REASON!”
People have a right to decide on their beliefs. They have a free will to choose, and I totally agree with this. I would not have it any other way. As I say this, I’m also aware that truth is more important than sincerity. Build your house on lies, and in time, your house will fall. Truth is absolute and always proves its course. In other words, always build your life on the solid foundation of truth.
People will tell lies and lead many people astray. Make sure, especially in light of eternity, that you choose wisely in what you accept and believe.
The evidence that Jesus came to earth, died on a cross, and resurrected is overwhelming if you earnestly study the biblical story and history that supports it. I submit to you, to believe a message on a billboard, such as the one previously mentioned, is to choose unwisely.
Wise men approaching the Nativity scene from the east happened. It’s not a myth, but truth. You may join that group of wise men, by choosing to believe the rest of the story as Paul Harvey would say, and to receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior. This will be the wisest decision in your life if you haven’t already done so.
