Build the church, with a tall steeple. Make it look nice, for all the people. Get good pews, and place them in rows, and allow aisle space, for easy flow. Get excellent carpet, and pick a nice color. Check for value, against the dollar. Stain glass windows, sure are fine, and don’t forget to advertise,…

Our nation is grounded in lies. Lying pervades our government and media. People are being deceived, and in so many ways, don’t feel the worse for it. In other words, many want to believe the lies. They don’t want to face truth. Many people want to live in a make-believe world, and pretend things are…

You can’t go back. What’s done is done. If you live in the past, then it’s time to shun. It’s time to move forward. Forget the past. Take your past failures, and behind you cast. Don’t let them rob you, and they most certainly will, of future blessings, if they linger still. God forgave you.…

The parachutist gets on the airplane, before it takes flight, as he takes his parachute, that can be used during day or night. The airplane takes off, as the engines roar, into the sky it goes, and begins to soar. The drop zone is near, as the parachutist looks out. He has confidence in his…

Taken from “Pushing Against Darkness”, Aspect Books. This was written some time past but still pertains. —————————————————————————————————————— Welcome to the real-life Twilight Zone. During the first scene, you’ll notice the Islamic immigration policies of Western nations. The general populace in these countries does not desire these policies, yet the governments force them on their people—despite…

Consider just some of the many things that the Bible foretold before man ever knew about them. These items are referred to or supported by scripture. Contour of the earth is circular (Isaiah 40:22) Life is in the blood (Leviticus 17:11, 14) Bodies comprised from earthen elements (Genesis 2:7, 3:19) Gravity relevance (Job 26:7) Wind…

This is written as a possible coming event – abundant oil discovery in Israel. The Valley of Jezreel which I once visited is located near Megiddo in Israel.  It’s a lush, green valley that has endured wars in the past and will host the greatest of wars in the future.  You see, according to the…

As I lived and travelled throughout Israel I was constantly reminded of its historical biblical past. I would see location after location reminding me of its incredible history. Thus, why not look at Israel as a whole entity in reference to words from God. Deuteronomy 28:64 says, “And the Lord shall scatter thee among all…

Dr. Peter W. Stoner published a book called “Science Speaks” in 1969, and based on his background, he was an extremely accomplished and experienced mathematician. He was the Chairman of the Departments of Mathematics and Astronomy at Pasadena City College until 1953 and then became Chairman of the Science Division at Westmont College. Although there are…

Michael Imhof Ministries Greetings from Aurora, Illinois. Paulette and I certainly have been busy in ministry this year. Not only have we ministered in Illinois, but we’ve also ministered in Indiana, Wisconsin, New York, South Carolina, and Pennsylvania during 2025. As a result, we’ve seen people receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior. We’ve seen…

Winter has come, and snow is on the ground. So, let’s build a snowman, with three sections round. Roll the snow, and do a good job, and when we’re finished, we’ll name him Bob. Stones for his eyes, will do just fine. Now check their level, to ensure a good line. Get a carrot, for…

Apparently a female student who transitioned to identifying as a male was crowned prom king recently at a Massachusetts High School. According to an article by Calvin Freiburger, the transition started in eighth grade. Nicole, now Nicholas, legally changed her name, and after years of consultation with a primary care doctor, endocrinologists, psychologists, therapists, and…

The Mayflower, carrying 102 pilgrims and 30 crew members landed at Provincetown Harbor off the coast of Massachusetts in November of 1620. Many of the colonists barely survived the harsh winters of 1620 and 1621. Many died. Governor William Bradford subsequently implemented a collectivist policy in 1622 where he allotted each family a plot of…

“My name is Bond, James Bond, and I’m a model for all men who want to be cool and masculine,” so says James Bond. “Further, women fall for me whenever I look at them, and will do for me whatever I desire.” “Freedom of the press has allowed me to publish ‘Playboy’ and I will…

Without Christ, there’s no Christmas. Without salvation, there’s no celebration. Those who celebrate Christmas without these realities will celebrate in vanity. They may enjoy the season, and have a good time, but it’ll have been in vanity. My first assignment overseas as a young Navy lieutenant was in the Middle East. During this time I…

Transgender and related issues seem surreal. These are issues that our founding fathers could never have envisioned since so much of this is ludicrous, and exceptionally challenging to common sense. Christians in America are faced with horrible laws today. There’s an anti-God assault in America. You see, America no longer encourages religious liberty, but in…

As I made a funeral home visit this past week, I pondered some thoughts as I extended condolences to parents who had tragically just lost their daughter. First, even if someone is nice, was that person saved? Second, which I pondered later, who consoled the Father when Jesus was brutally beaten and then put to…

Although there are other areas, there are three key policy areas that significantly show the decadent and/or unrighteous path America is on. They are abortion, homosexuality and “roadmap to peace” plan in regards to Jerusalem and Israel. America’s abortion rights policy is horrible. There have been over 58 million abortions since Roe versus Wade. The…

WWJD is a common acronym seen on stickers or bracelets throughout America. It translates to “What would Jesus do?” In regard to the current state of our government and nation, I ponder “WWJD” if Jesus were the newly elected president. Some things come to mind immediately of which I’m confident. First, I already know that…

Slavery and abortion have a common link. The 1973 Supreme Court declared in Roe versus Wade that the unborn child is not a person. The 1857 Supreme Court declared in the Dred Scott case that a slave is not a person. In both the Roe versus Wade and Dred Scott cases, nine men in black…

Choose this day who you will serve. May the words of Joshua challenge America? People believe that they have the right to do evil; the same way illegal immigrants believe that they have rights to be here in violation of law. Talk show hosts get on radio, and tell you what needs to be done…

I’ve often thought that there are three most important decisions in life. It’s important to get these three right because your quality of life will greatly emanate from them. Yes, there are many more important decisions along the way, but these three in my mind, are ones that provide the foundation, and key direction in…

There’s no reference to Christianity in the Constitution, except for the legal exemption of Sunday with respect to presidential vetoes (in Article I, Section 7) and the dating “in the year of our Lord” in Article VII. So how can the Constitution truly be a Christian document? First, the laws reflect Christian moral laws, and…

The Bible has much to say about unforgiveness. It makes it clear that we must forgive. This is not subject to debate if one is a Christian. One must forgive. That said, sometimes it’s difficult to forgive. One may say that, “You don’t know my situation.” You’re right, I don’t, but I do know that…

Go to your roots, America, least you forget who, and what once made you great “In the name of God, Amen. We, whose names are underwritten, the Loyal Subjects of our dread Sovereign Lord King James, by the Grace of God, of Great Britain, France, and Ireland, King, Defender of the Faith, etc. Having undertaken…

One of the most outstanding sites that I’ve ever seen in my life was the Grand Canyon. I’ve traveled extensively throughout the world and have seen some pretty impressive sites; however, when I came up to the North Canyon Rim of the Grand Canyon and looked over the rail I was awestruck. The Grand Canyon…

CNN reported that Anders Behring Breivik, the Norwegian mass murderer, was a “right-wing, Christian fundamentalist.” If you recall, Timothy McVeigh was also said to be a Christian. He was not, and neither is Breivik. While McVeigh rejected God altogether, Breivik writes in his manifesto that he is not religious, has doubts about God’s existence and…

Christmas celebrates the birth of Jesus as Savior coming into the world. However, almost as intriguing as the virgin birth is his crucifixion. Skeptics have argued throughout time, opposing the biblical story of the crucifixion. Did Jesus merely faint from exhaustion on the cross? What was a Roman flogging like? A soldier would use a…

The Lamar Outdoor billboard near New York showed silhouettes of the traditional images of three wise men approaching the Nativity scene during this past season. Its message, “You KNOW it’s a myth/This Season. Celebrate REASON!” People have a right to decide on their beliefs. They have a free will to choose, and I totally agree…

Sam had done well in life. He had invested well, and made some great business decisions along the way. Sam had become financially wealthy. As a result, Sam began to live for himself and all the fun he could pursue. He built things that brought him even more profit. In the world’s eyes Sam had…

No creature is designed like a human. Our ability to communicate, understand, feel emotions, and to rationally think seems to demonstrate that we were created for a purpose. Evolutionists, however, believe that human beings just evolved with no special design or purpose. Which is true? Humans are creative, emotional and spiritual beings, distinct from the…

Al-Qaeda attacked a church in Baghdad on Oct. 31, 2010, killing at least 58 people. Since then, other attacks have been carried out against Christians in Iraq. One gunman was reported to have said, “We will go to paradise if we kill you and you will go to hell.” Let’s get to the point: Many…

If dinosaurs died millions of years ago according to evolutionists, then how can their fossils still contain soft tissue? Within the last several years remarkable discoveries have been made in the study of dinosaur bones. Soft, unfossilized blood vessels and red blood cells have been discovered in dinosaur fossils. In 2005, a team of scientists…

How does one catch wild pigs? Step One: Find a suitable place in the woods, and put corn on the ground. The pigs find it and begin to come daily to eat the free corn. Allow them to get used to coming every day to eat the free corn. Step Two: Now put a fence…

I visited the Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum near Jerusalem in 2007. I left that visit in an exceptionally somber mood, as I had been touched by the depravity of mankind. The feelings still linger within my heart, and equally, so do the feelings I have for the over 50 million aborted children in America since…

There’s something exceptionally intriguing about life and the willingness to live. Rather it be in human beings or the animal kingdom, species strive to survive. Creatures regularly seek food and water in their efforts to subsist. Notice how endangering situations are carefully avoided when life is threatened. Dangerous situations are clearly shunned in efforts for…

Madalyn Murray O’Hair once stated that God was sadistic, brutal and a representation of hatred. William Murray said of his mother, “I was born into a home of near constant rage and violence. As a result of my mother’s constant angry outbursts, she could not hold down a job. She, my brother and I, lived…

Although many people have not read the Bible, I know that all mankind have read his other book, the “Splendor of Creation,” which conveys exceedingly imaginative and breathtaking scenes beyond description within its most thoroughly creative pages. I, for one, have been so impressed by its contents on numerous occasions. I’ve seen the sun rise…

I’ve pondered why the church has not had a greater effect on the direction of America today. Based on history, it’s clear that the church had a much greater effect on politics in the earlier history of America. Why isn’t the church having a greater effect today? First, Jesus taught love, forgiveness, sacrifice, unity and…

What made America great? It’s the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob We cannot fix America because we’re not the ones who made it great. What made America great? It’s the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Today, all sorts of humanistic and secular solutions are being discussed, and sometimes acted on, in order to…

It appears that the wisdom of Solomon would be requisite in dealing with the many domestic and foreign policy issues that America faces today if our nation is to be successful. Solomon, in all of his glory and riches, came to some interesting conclusions about life. He struggled to find significance in daily living, but…

What’s more important — sincerity or truth? I submit to you that truth is more important. Sincerity is certainly commendable but truth is absolute. People can be sincerely wrong. It can cost people their lives. It can lead to poor decisions. It can lead to poor investments. A doctor, for example, may be sincere in…

What is worry? Most would agree that worry conveys a feeling of uneasiness, apprehension or dread. These feelings bring on negative thoughts of tension that grip one’s mind. It preoccupies one with painful consequences of what might happen in the future. Typically, worry centers around threats, choices, past experiences, or lack. Why does worry occur?…

Why do Muslims celebrate Ramadan based on the lunar calendar? The Sabeans, pagans, in the pre-cultural time of Muhammad prayed five times a day and celebrated a month of fasting based on the lunar calendar. This appears to be where Muhammad got those practices from. He used the same prayer times and the month of…

It’s not uncommon for school classes to conduct mock presidential elections as Election Day approaches. I recall back in time when I, as a young student, voted for Barry Goldwater when he ran against Lyndon Johnson. Of course, the class overwhelmingly supported Lyndon Johnson as did the populace. I was in the minority as Lyndon…

Some years back, Muslim Sulejman Talovic fatally shot several people in a Salt Lake City shopping mall. FBI agent Patrick Kiernan said the bureau had no reason to believe that he was motivated by religious extremism or terrorism even though he was armed with a .38 caliber pistol, a shotgun and a backpack full of…

Many people have come up with different theories in trying to refute the resurrection of Jesus Christ. However, one will find that the evidence, upon close examination, overwhelmingly supports the resurrection. Furthermore, pure logic refutes opposing theories. Some say that the disciples stole the body from the tomb. This means that the disciples, who had…

According to the U.S. State Department, there is not a single, public Christian church left in Afghanistan. This reflects the state of religious freedom in Afghanistan 10 years after the United States first invaded it and overthrew its Islamist Taliban regime. In the intervening decade, U.S. taxpayers have spent $440 billion to support Afghanistan’s new…

Some perceive me as being arrogant or self-righteous when I write about Jesus Christ as being the way of salvation. Some even consider me insensitive toward others when I discuss eternity. Let me say that I’m not politically correct because eternity is brutally frank. Thus, in reality, I have great concern for others. Two plus…

When my mother died suddenly of what we think was a heart attack I was living in Atlanta, Georgia. I flew into town to attend her funeral. Before I went back to Atlanta, I wanted to spend time with friends and attend my old church. I reconnected with a lady who had been like a…

Government decisions and the will of the people often diametrically oppose each other. Government is supposed to represent the will of the people, but now in America, it’s basically not true. I was reading an article by David Barton, and he cited statistics from a Gallup Poll taken a few years ago. Figures highlighted how…

Where is the church? Hollywood has been developing and promulgating anti-Christian movies for many years now. Although this assault has targeted adults and youth, in reality, Jesus Christ is the main target, along with the damnation of souls. That said, Christians have been taught, by their leadership, to be passive, non-violent and to offer no…

Love, security and significance are important words for a human being. A human being will even compromise, manipulate, lie, steal and deceive as that human being earnestly pursues these values in one’s life, trying to fulfill these requisite aspects of life without not totally understanding why. As one examines human behavior, it’s quite easy to…

Life starts in the womb. Although the Bible clearly states this, many willingly choose to ignore a preponderance of evidence that corroborates this. Numerous children are born prematurely and live to become healthy adults. Personally, my brother had twin boys born at about seven months and they’ve grown to be healthy young men. John Kelly…

Paulette and I have had a busy year in ministry. Not only have we ministered in Illinois, but we’ve also ministered in Indiana, New York, Virginia, Michigan and North Carolina during this past year. As a result, we’ve seen numerous people receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior. We’ve also seen people get healed and…

Russia re-establishing itself as superpower A Russian military vessel recently docked at a Havana naval base. According to Russia’s defense minister, Sergei Shoigu, Russia is looking to build military bases in Vietnam, Cuba, Venezuela, Nicaragua, the Seychelles, Singapore and several other countries. Some may suggest that the move to put military bases in Asia and…

Christians can operate by fear, or they can operate by faith and love. That said, one of the worst disablers to well-meaning individuals is the fear of man. Many people when sharing their faith start to think this way – What will they think of me if I invite them to church? Are they going…
