Why do Muslims celebrate Ramadan based on the lunar calendar? The Sabeans, pagans, in the pre-cultural time of Muhammad prayed five times a day and celebrated a month of fasting based on the lunar calendar. This appears to be where Muhammad got those practices from. He used the same prayer times and the month of fasting like the Sabeans.
If Muslims serve the same God as Christians, then I ask — was Jesus Christ crucified or not? The Koran says he was not. Does that mean God was drunk when he wrote the Koran? Jehovah is consistent. There are too many differences between the Koran and the Bible to say it’s the same god. Clearly, Islam is following a different god than the one of Christianity when one compares the substantial differences between the Koran and the Bible, and the different attributes of Allah versus Jehovah.
The Bible says that Noah’s ark landed on Mount Ararat, and not Mount Judi as the Koran says. The Bible says Abraham went to sacrifice Isaac and not Ishmael as the Koran says. The Bible says that the flood occurred during the time of Noah and not during Moses’ time as the Koran says. These are just a few of a plethora of differences between the Koran and the Bible.
